What people say

Solid North Indian spot on Patong Beach Road serving generous portions of authentic dishes—aloo kulcha and tikka rolls are standouts. Staff consistently get praise for attentiveness and friendliness, though some find the "only Indian restaurant" claim overstated. Good for groups or anyone craving genuine Indian comfort food near the beach.

We were really craving Indian food. Loved the food here. Really hit the spot. True Indian food. Our waitress Sonia was so friendly and helpful 😀

You can easily spot this restaurant right on the main Patong Beach road. The atmosphere successfully blends elements of a typical North Indian eatery with a semi-fine-dining feel, offering a comfortable, familiar setting. While they claim to be one of the only Indian spots, they are certainly one of many in Phuket. The staff is a friendly mix of Indian and Thai, capable of handling orders in both Hindi and English, which is helpful. The menu is extensive, covering a wide range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian North Indian cuisine. Service is steady and reliable (I'd rate it 4/5)—not lightning fast, but perfectly acceptable. The food itself is genuinely good. It’s well-balanced, authentic, and truly transports you back to India with that lovely, homely taste. The atmosphere and the food blend together seamlessly to provide a comforting experience. However, nothing about the meal or atmosphere stands out as truly extraordinary or unique. Here is where the restaurant loses significant marks. While the taste is good, the prices and portion sizes make the dining experience feel exorbitantly expensive. For a fairly basic meal among six people, our bill approached 10,000 INR. This pricing is comparable to high-end fine dining restaurants back in India, yet the experience here doesn't justify that premium. Having tried several Indian restaurants across Thailand, I found this one to be the most expensive and offered the least value for money. My two cents: If budget is absolutely no constraint for you, and you are seeking a decent, authentic Indian meal with a homely feel, do visit. However, as a value-for-money traveler, I have to recommend caution. The food is good, but the cost-to-portion ratio makes it a very poor proposition compared to other available options in the area.

The food was of good quality. The service staff Shanti was always attentive and hospitable. She understood I was feeling sick and located us away from AC ducts and even switched off AC. The price was of a resonable amount. I tried aloo kulcha with cholle and vegetarian thali. The serving size was more than sufficient for one person. Located just a few steps away from the beach it’s easy to reach.

Tried this restaurant being a Pakistani desi. The food itself was good. Tried Aloo Kulcha after reading about it in reviews and it lived up to expectations with crispy paratha filled with aloo sabzi served with butter, raita and a tomato based chatni. (10/10) The chicken tikka roll was also decent. It was wrapped in a chapati type roti and not paratha like we get in Pakistan. Still it tasted good (8.5/10). The sweet lassi was good just like we get back in our home. Ok now the reason for 3 star. The vibe killed it for me. The place has dimmed lights so you can't actually make sure of hygine. Also, the stairs from other Indians trying to identify our identity was a bit awkward. Some passing by comments from indians on our empty thali (our food arrived in parts) not like we ordered one item lol.

Great experience, they have a good food like you can order it always if you crave for an Indian food, plus they have an amazing people inside that can serve you with a smile in their faces and they are all very helpful. They also give so much serving that can make 2-3 people eat in one order. So much good that it really tastes authentic cooked in India.
