My friend and I spent quite some time searching for the best place to be in Phuket, and after a few days we finally found it at Barra Cuda Beach Club. Everything was outstanding, from the hospitality to the food and beverages, and of course the party atmosphere. It was simply perfect ! The music was absolutely on fire and we were surrounded by beautiful people, which made the experience even better. A special thanks to our wonderful waitress, Mai, for her kindness and for taking such great care of my friend and me throughout the day.

Barracuda Patong has an incredible vibe, it reminded me of Jimmy’s Pool Club rooftop vibe in Sydney, but even better because it’s right on the beach. We went on an event day, which made the atmosphere electric, but even when there’s no event on, it’s still a really nice place to relax, eat, and enjoy the beachside setting as well as the entertainment and amazing energy and vibe at night just without the themed decorations.
During the day, the vibe is bright, fun, and relaxed with great music, colourful pool floats, and super comfortable seating. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout.
The food overall was really nice and well presented, though the seafood pasta was a bit of a let-down compared to everything else we tried. I recommend the sushi, steak, the pizza, thai food and the cocktails.
As the day rolled into night, the energy picked up with amazing entertainment, talented dancers, and a great DJ that kept the party going. The whole venue feels lively and social, with a fun mix of people all enjoying themselves.
If you love the Sydney rooftop style but want it in a beachfront setting with even more atmosphere, Barracuda Patong is a must-visit. I’d definitely be coming back!

Good vibe and good music make this place feel so relaxing, perfect for spending an easy afternoon by the sea. The real highlight comes at sunset—absolutely magnificent, with golden light reflecting on the waves and painting the sky in soft pink and orange hues. It’s the kind of view that makes you want to just sit back with a drink and enjoy the moment. One thing to note though, if you want to lounge on the beach bed, there’s an additional charge. But honestly, with that stunning sunset right in front of you, it might be worth every penny for the full experience.
