What people say

A Phuket institution since 1952, this place nails traditional stir-fried noodles with springy texture and balanced sauce—the pad thai and pork mee sapam are standouts that justify its Michelin recognition. Consistent praise for freshness and care in execution, though it gets slammed during peak hours. Best for anyone chasing authentic local noodle dishes without fuss.

This restaurant has the best pad thai that I had while I was in Thailand. It was absolutely amazing. They also have a delicious lime freeze that is worth a try. I would highly recommend a stop.

Possibly one of the best and most authentic Thai restaurants in Phuket. We visited Mee Sapam for Sunday lunch and, as expected, it was very busy. We ordered several dishes, including their famous noodles, Phuket sausages, broth, and the traditional grass jelly for dessert. Every dish was perfectly cooked, and the freshness of the noodles is something I’ll remember for a long time. The staff were friendly and attentive. Both the air-conditioned and regular dining areas are spacious and relaxing. This place is more than just a restaurant, it’s also a great place to shop. You can buy a range of local products on site, including sunglasses, which adds to the overall experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience Thai food at its best.

Tried the pork mee sapam at Mee Sapam (Sapam Noodle) in Phuket and it was very satisfying. The pork was tender and flavourful, and paired really well with the springy noodles. The sauce was well-balanced, not too heavy, but full of depth, bringing everything together nicely. It’s a straightforward dish, but done with care and consistency, which makes it stand out. The whole experience felt very local and authentic. No frills, just a comforting bowl of noodles that delivers on taste. Definitely worth stopping by if you want to try a classic Phuket noodle dish.

Tried their food recently and it was pretty good! We ordered their Phuket style salad, noodles with seafood, and Phuket oysters. For dessert and drinks, we had glass jelly, fresh coconut, and passion fruit juice. The salad had an interesting flavor — surprisingly good! The noodles were okay too. Overall, a nice and decent spot if you want to try some local dishes while in Phuket.

They serve traditional Phuket-style stir-fried noodles from way back in 1952 ⏳and it even won a Michelin award!🌟 Pad Thai was so good, seriously impressive. I also tried boiled black sugarcane juice for the first time here — kinda mildly sweet and a bit unusual, but actually pretty good. Food came out fast, and the staff were super friendly. Loved it! 🫶🏻
